RPM CEO David Goldstein Receives the Class of ’56 Award at USF Alumni Awards 2025
RPM Realty Management, LLC’s CEO David Goldstein and his wife Joanne Nelson were honored with USF’s Class of ’56 Award for their lasting impact on USF and the Tampa Bay community.
Celebrating a Prestigious Honor – What is the Class of ’56 Award?
Thursday, October 16th, 2025, our RPM team joined together with pride and excitement to celebrate our CEO, David Goldstein, and his wife, Joanne Nelson, who were honored with the Class of ’56 Award at the 2025 USF Alumni Awards.

The Class of ’56 Award, presented by the USF Alumni Association, is one of the university’s highest honors. It recognizes non-alumni who have made a lasting impact on the University of South Florida and the greater Tampa Bay community.
David and Joanne have supported the university for many years through leadership, philanthropy, and service. They have held roles with the USF Foundation, USF Athletics’ Bulls Club, and the Stampede for Women, where Joanne is a founding member. Their generosity, including a $2 million dollar donation to USF Football in 2018, has made a real difference in the lives of students, faculty, and the wider community.
In a humble reflection on the recognition, David shared, “I’m being honored for something I just love doing.” His words reflect his genuine character and show the humility and passion that define both him and Joanne.
A New Scholarship in Honor of His Daughter
During the ceremony, they announced a new USF College of Education scholarship in honor of David’s daughter, Sherry Goldstein Scarcella. The scholarship will support future educators earning a bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education. This initiative reflects their deep commitment to education and to shaping future generations of teachers.

Leadership that Inspires RPM
For RPM Realty Management, LLC, this recognition is more than an award. It represents the values we strive to uphold – leadership, service, and a genuine commitment to making a difference beyond business.
David and Joanne remind us that success is not only measured by professional accomplishments, but also by the positive impact we make in the world around us.
We are incredibly proud of David and Joanne for this well-deserved recognition and the positive example they set for our entire team. Their impact will continue to be felt for years to come, both within USF and throughout our community.
Congratulations to David, Joanne, and all the other honorees at the 2025 USF Alumni Awards.
